Frequently asked questions

What people usually want to know before getting in touch. Anything else, just ask.

What does a project cost?

It depends entirely on the scope. A single website is a very different budget from a full system. But you always know the price before work begins. After the free meeting you get a written overview with a realistic price range, with no obligation to go further.

What do I get out of the free meeting?

A conversation about your workflow and what slows you down, preferably at your place. Within 3 working days you get a written overview: what I understood, my suggestion, price range, timeline and next step. If building something is not worth it, I will tell you that too.

What kinds of systems can you build?

Most things that run in a browser or on a computer: internal systems, customer portals, web applications, integrations between existing systems, dashboards, websites and desktop programs. If you are unsure whether your idea fits, ask at the free meeting.

How long does it take?

From a couple of weeks for a focused website or tool to a few months for a full system. Every project is different, so I will not promise a fixed number up front. But you get a realistic picture early and can follow along the whole way.

Do I own the code?

Yes. It is your software and your data. No license per user and no lock-in to me as a supplier. You get the source code, and if we ever stop working together, everything is yours to keep and run.

What happens if you can no longer help us?

A fair question to ask a one-person studio. You own the code and the documentation, and I build with widely used technologies, so another developer can take over. That is also why you always get the source code.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, 3 months after launch. If something does not work as agreed, I fix it free of charge. New features and changes along the way are not covered.

Where will the system run?

You choose. I can host and run it, set it up on your own servers, or run it on your own cloud account. In every case you own the code and the data.

I only need something small. Is that okay?

Absolutely. A single landing page is just as welcome as a full platform. Starting small and expanding later, when the need becomes clear, is a perfectly good plan.

Do you work with businesses outside Odense?

Yes, all over Denmark. Meetings on Fyn are free at your place. Further away we can meet online, or in person for a small travel fee.

Have something you want solved?

Start with a free meeting. We look at how you work today, and afterwards you get a written overview with my suggestion. No obligation.
